Murtaugh and Riggs are back, perhaps for the last time, with action, explosions, and their usual banter as they chase down the leaders of a Chinese Triad on American soil. The plots of the Lethal Weapon franchise have become routine by now, but newcomers Chris Rock and Jet Li contribute new fun to this entry. The disc itself has a ton of extras, including commentary with Donner and co-producers, 30-minute "Real Lethal" documentary hosted by Danny Glover, deleted scenes from the first three films, interview gallery with the cast, B-reel footage, trailers of all four Lethal Weapon movies, textual supplements, and "Reel Recommendations" with selected trailers. The extras alone are enough to warrant a rental of Lethal Weapon 4, and fans of the series will probably want to add it to their collections.
