The classic fantasy/horror anthology series from the 1960s — the series that often bested The Twilight Zone for sheer hard-edged clarity of concept — gets the respect it deserves with MGM's four-disc set. All 32 of the first season's hour-long episodes are here, along with a booklet of episode synopses, original airdates, trivia, and credits. The digital transfers look terrific, allowing for an expected mount of wear, in their original black-and-white, full-frame 1.33:1 ratios. The Dolby Digital 2.0 monaural audio is limited in range, but otherwise clear and solid. Four-DVD keep-case.
