Star Trek III: The Search for Spock: Special Collector's Edition

To reunite the body and soul of his friend Spock, Admiral Kirk (William Shatner) shanghais the starship Enterprise, returns to the forbidden Genesis planet, fights a rogue Klingon captain (Christopher Lloyd), and then steals the Klingon's ship to take Spock's "regenerated" corpse back to the Vulcan homeworld. Directed by Leonard Nimoy, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock is a somber, broody story that undoes much of what was so good about its predecessor, The Wrath of Khan, but there's still plenty here to satisfy dedicated Trek fans. All others may prefer to skip directly to the next movie. Fine visuals and 5.1 audio accent Paramount's two-disc DVD edition. Extras include a commentary track with director Nimoy, writer/producer Harve Bennett, cinematographer Charles Correll, and actor Robin Curtis; textual commentary track (captions format); several "making of" featurettes; storyboards and photos; a featurette on "Terraforming and the Prime Directive"; plus the theatrical trailer and the Star Trek: Nemesis teaser trailer. Dual-DVD keep-case.
