Suicide Kings
An affluent young man (Henry Thomas) finds that his sister has been kidnapped, and when his father can't raise the $2 million ransom, he and his friends (Sean Patrick Flanery, Johnny Galecki, Jay Mohr, and Jeremy Sisto) nab a notorious mobster (Christopher Walken) and try to get him to negotiate for the girl's release. This 1998 indie debut from director Peter O'Fallon and writer Wayne Allan Rice is mostly entertaining, and has a few good twists and turns along the way as the captive Walken uses his experience to turn the young kidnappers against each other. Walken fans will enjoy his performance here, and Denis Leary as his number-one thug is both violent and funny. Commentary track with O'Fallon and Rice, two alternate endings, trailer, textual supplements.
